The Book of Liwen

She will emerge from her hiding place,

Dressed in scarlet,

Seeking easy prey,

Waiting for the moment

To reveal her sinister smile,

To make you feel helpless

In your vulnerability,

And to trap you.

When that day comes,

You will not recognise

Your reflection in the mirror;

You will feel weak

And look back on

What your life was like yesterday.

When that day comes,

Do not succumb to fear;

Stand firm,

Don't let her turn you around.

Keep your faith in the Lord.

Pray.

Because it's a matter of time.

The decisions you make

And the path you choose

During the critical moments

Of this lifetime

Shall determine how you are judged.

For a time of great judgment is to come.
